Our skilled and experienced team can cater to all your dental needs offering a wide range of services:

Examination: An initial oral exam of your gums and teeth, ask about changes in your overall health or medicine use; diagnose any oral health problems; and make treatment recommendations if required.

Scale and Clean (Preventative treatment): Teeth Scaling is a procedure of deep cleaning of teeth for removal of plaque deposited at the gum pocket. For the process, an instrument called an ultrasonic scaler is used by the Dentist. The procedure of the scaling involves taking off the tartar for smooth appearance and averting dental complications.

Fillings: Dental fillings are used to restore worn or damaged teeth and treat tooth decay especially in the molars (back teeth). In recent years, alternative tooth-coloured filling materials have also become more common and affordable.

Resin Composite Tooth Fillings: Resin composite fillings are the most common material placed in dentistry today. They come in a variety of shades which can be matched to your individual tooth colour. They are used to fill teeth that are decayed, close gaps between teeth, mask or change the colour of teeth, replace old fillings, or repair chipped or broken fillings. With good oral hygiene, good diet and regular dental check-ups, your composite fillings should last for many years.

Amalgam Fillings: Amalgam Fillings (silver) are still the strongest and most durable material used to restore teeth. There has been no proof offered that the small amount of mercury found in amalgam causes any health hazards.

Root canal Treatment: If you have damaged or infected pulp in one or more of the roots of your teeth, or an abscess has developed, you may need a root canal treatment. This damage or infection may have been caused by untreated dental decay, decay beneath a filling, tooth damage, tooth grinding (bruxism) or gum disease.

Crown & Bridge Work: Dental crowns and bridges are a functional, and usually, an aesthetic solution for restoring decayed, chipped or cracked teeth. A crown replaces a single tooth, while a bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. Both crowns and bridges are strong and durable, and being custom-made, offer patients great aesthetics and long-term protection.

Extractions: A dental extraction is the removal of a tooth from the mouth. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons, including tooth decay that has destroyed enough tooth structure to render the tooth non-restorable.

Veneers: Veneers are thin laminates that cover the front surfaces of teeth. Even though they are only about half a millimetre thick, they are made of strong porcelain and are therefore extremely durable. In most cases, placement of veneers takes just two office visits, but the benefits can last years longer than other types of cosmetic fixes.

Whitening (In office or at home): Teeth Whitening is a chemical process used to lighten the colour of your teeth. Before allowing our patients to whiten their teeth we require a thorough examination and scale and clean if necessary to ensure the teeth require no treatment. We offer in office bleaching which is done entirely in the dental chair, or take home bleaching kit. In office bleaching is one appointment which can take anywhere up to 90 mins in the chair. Take home bleaching requires impressions (moulds) to be taken of your upper and lower teeth, whitening trays are then made from theses impressions. It will take roughly a week for the whitening trays to be ready for you to pick up from us along with your whitening kit. Thorough instructions will be given to you. Teeth whitening is not permanent with results lasting up to 1-2 years, depending on personal habits (coffee, tea, smoking etc).

Full Dentures: Full Dentures are prosthetic appliances constructed to replace all missing teeth, missing bone and tissue. Full dentures also restore your natural facial contour. The dentures are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. A full denture replaces all the teeth on either the upper and/or lower jaw.

Partial dentures: Partial dentures replace only some teeth on either the upper and/or the lower jaw and are held in place by retainers or clasps. There are three types of partial dentures: acrylic denture, nylon flexible denture, cast metal framework including cast in either cobalt-chromium or titanium.

Immediate Dentures: As implied immediate dentures are put in place immediately after the teeth have been extracted. They are constructed by drawing on the artistic skill and experience of the Dental Prosthetist prior to the extraction and insertion appointment.

Repairs and Relines: A reline is the periodic renewal of the tissue fitting surface of the denture. This ensures the denture is fitting accurately, is supported, and performing correctly. This maintains maximum comfort and stability and helps with ridge preservation. Repairs and tooth additions are carried out as required and they can be of a simple nature, or they may require additional welding to aid reinforcement.

Mouthguard’s: A custom fitted mouthguard offers the greatest protection for your teeth. A properly fabricated mouthguard offers the cheapest insurance, with immediate protection, that you can afford yourself or your children. They can come in a variety of colours and schemes to suit your style
