It’s never too early to begin teaching good oral hygiene to your children. Behaviours learnt when they’re young tend to stick with them throughout life.
You should start caring for your child’s oral health from when they are a baby and into their toddler years as they get their first teeth.
It is also important to remember that a good diet will help maintain healthy teeth at any age, we usually start seeing toddlers from around 2years. This allows them to become familiar with the clinic and get to know the dentist.
From the age of 2 until 17 years there is a government initiative providing $1000 of free basic dental, for those who meet the eligibility criteria. This is the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) for more information or to see if your eligible follow the link Child Dental Benefits Schedule – Services Australia or call our Team on 51271595.
